It's better out West.
Adventures from our home in Colorado Springs and our cabin in the mountains. Gardening, prepping, dog wrangling, ranting, etc. I can't promise anything here is useful but it's our way-back machine.
You just might find some nice photo's, recipes, and ideas.

Breakfast with a view
It's an amazingly beautiful and warm day, time to mow the grass.
We are socked in by low clouds on the mountain tops. I can't even see to the tree line across the meadow right now. And, at this time of the year, we are surrounded by a solid wall of dense forest. Then I see where you live and I am envious. But I don't think I could handle the beautiful people in Colorado. I need to be in Georgia where the rural folks don't have much money but are good people. Where the laws let me live like I want to. I guess I am too much of a country fellow to fit in out there.
I like thick vegetation and forests but just have to enjoy what we have bailable. People are people, all sorts of variety everywhere. I'm certain there aren't a lot of beautiful people here (sorry I can't think of a joke either).
ohhhh soooo beautiful and soooo very different from our views! we love our views but we love to see other parts of north america and it is so great when bloggers from all parts of north america share the vews that they have! we are having an awesome planting day and i just got a call from "buddy" who says he is delivering 2 more books today - woohoo!
I hope you enjoy your books! I love beautiful places, from forests to mountains to plains to beaches. It's nice to see photo's from the various corners of the continent.
Rural life is the best for sure. Snow, sun, wind, rain and mowing the lawn while the neighbors slow down to stare at the new invention you push around!
